Low & No Wine – Wine Industry Advisor

Proud Moment!

We’re thrilled to see so many of our clients featured in the IWSC’s latest piece, “Beyond Substitution: How Low & No Wines Are Finding Their Voice” (August 11, 2025). The article underscores how the Low & No wine category has matured well beyond mere alcohol substitution—showcasing stunning still whites, rosés, and reds that now command medals on their own merits. Still wines especially are leading the way with major jumps in quality and recognition (reference article).

We’re also immensely proud to highlight South African representation with Holder Vineyard and Wines and Van Loveren Family Vineyards both achieving silver. It’s a testament to our region’s innovation and passion entering the global spotlight.

This recognition is more than just a celebration—it’s proof that the Low & No category is moving beyond a niche trend into a vibrant, fast-growing part of the wine industry. From innovative, wine-inspired creations to outstanding still wines that can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with their alcoholic counterparts, the sector is showing remarkable diversity, quality, and global appeal.

Here’s to the rising tide lifting all boats—cheers to continued innovation, excellence, and global acclaim!
