The commissioning of Afriplex`s Ethanol Recovery Still was scheduled for and completed in September 2007.  The design criteria were met and the plant successfully handed over to Afriplex for operation.

Afriplex is a leading producer of plant extracts primarily for the export market.  They commissioned Logichem for the design and supply of an Ethanol Recovery Still for the rectification of diluted ethanol after processing back to the required strength.

The still operates in a stable and consistent manner with repeatable results achieved throughout initial testing, performance evaluation and operator training runs.  We attribute this to the practical operation accurately predicted by our process simulation models.
